Mount Vernon

Not much is happening in this little south alabama town. Up untill May of 2007 nothing much was likely to happen. The dam burst that was the big anouncement from German steel maker Thyssen Krupt, that they were going to put one of the world's largest steel mills afew miles north of town, has caused a craze. Now, going on a year later, the whole town has changed. Every thing in town has a plan. We're all waiting on the man to come with the wheel barrow full of cash and dump it on the front porch. So far though, that has not happened.
